Maintenance Plug-in v10 improves integration and tracking of the distribution journal entries for inventory control transfer distributions and disposal distributions of items that are fixed assets tracked by Inventory Control. The purpose of this new functionality is to create journal entries that take into account the depreciation and the net book value of assets as of the effective date when you will transfer the asset from one property to another or dispose of the asset.

This functionality is only for assets that you are tracking with Voyager Inventory Control. If you have fixed assets such as buildings that you are not tracking with Inventory Control, you must use the Asset Transfer function in the Voyager Fixed Asset module.
