Importing Data with ETL Overview

Yardi Voyager ETL is a Voyager utility designed to import foreign data from a non-Yardi property-management system, or to export Voyager data to a formatted file. If you want to import foreign data for condo, co-op, or HOA properties, you should follow the procedures in this appendix. For complete information about using ETL, see the Voyager ETL User's Guide.

If you want Voyager ETL to import data from a non-Yardi property-management system, you can create a CSV (common-separated values) import file from various ETL templates--Excel files that contain instructions for importing data, as well as sample import files. Before you import the files with ETL, you must add an ETL group, which determines the type of data that ETL imports, and a foreign database, which determines import settings.
